Kenneth E. Mitchell Child Development Center
Kenneth E. Mitchell dedicated much of his career to serving the students and families of Santa Ana. He held the role of Assistant Superintendent for Elementary Education and, before that, served as principal at several SAUSD elementary schools, including Franklin, Washington, and Logan. After a long career in education, he retired from the Santa Ana public school system in 1967. In recognition of his service, the Kenneth E. Mitchell Child Development Center was named in his honor.
